How To Make Del Monte Sizzling Hot Dogs
Hot dogs and ketchup were my favorite breakfast combo when I was a child. I remember having them before going to school. I would either have them with rice, on a sandwich or simply on stick. Ugh! Such a lovely memory! I could still tell how good hot dogs with ketchup taste, especially when there is cheese oozing inside. That’s why when I learned about this Del Monte recipe of Sizzling Hot Dog, I didn’t think twice to remake it. It feels like it upgraded from kid’s meal to an adult meal, making it suitable for me. I would having this again not just during breakfast but also as snack or bar chow. And of course, it’s made even better with our secret ingredient – the Del Monte Sweet Blend Ketchup.
1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.
- hot dogs
- 1 bottle of 320 grams Del Monte Sweet Blend Ketchup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup bell pepper
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1/3 cup margarine
2. Get the hot dogs and slice them diagonally.
3. Get the onion and bell pepper and slice.
4. Heat oil and saute sliced hot dogs.
5. Add the onion and bell pepper slices.
6. Mix in Del Monte Sweet Blend Ketchup. This is Sizzling Hot Dog’s secret recipe to yumminess.
7. Flavor with soy sauce.
8. Melt the margarine into the sizzler.
9. Place Sizzling Hot Dog in a sizzling plate. I do not have a sizzling plate so any plate is fine. Your Sizzling Hot Dog is now done and ready to be served.
