How To Make Nutty Caramel Macchiato
It’s the second day of our quarantine period in our region and everyone’s sharing what they have been doing in their respective houses for the past days under the hashtag #QuarantineLife. I know it’s hard to stay at home, thinking how and where we can get food and supplies for the next days, especially now that our works has stopped. I don’t know how much more I could help. But I would like to advise everyone to continue practicing proper hygiene, to stay healthy and to pray that this Covid-19 would come to an end.
For the meantime, let me also share my own #QuarantineLife story. Some days I’ve been cooking for the family or making experiments on the ingredients that are in our cupboard. However, the thing I’m sharing today isn’t that hard to do. Even kids can do this. I was just amazed with the flavors when I find out.
Today, we’re making Nutty Caramel Macchiato. You can also call this as Choc Nut Caramel Macchiato because the coffee uses King Choc Nut, a local chocolate brand.
Choc Nut was my childhood drug while coffee is my adulthood drug so combining the two is just heavenly.
1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.
- 3 bars of peanut chocolate
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 shots of espresso
- 1 tbsp caramel syrup
2. Infuse peanut chocolate bars in the coffee. Set aside.
3. Get your cup. Start making your caramel macchiato by spreading caramel syrup at the bottom of the cup.
4. Froth the milk.
5. Pour milk into the cup.
6. Get your coffee with peanut chocolate infuse and pour after the milk.
7. Your Nutty Caramel Macchiato is now done and ready to be served.
