How To Make Churros
It’s the 377th day of quarantine period in our region and today, we are in our friend’s churros shop. I won’t say which store it is. Just think of the best churreria in Oriental Mindoro and that’s it.
Originally invented in Spain, these elongated, crispy, crunchy and intensely fragrant twists are most commonly eaten in Spain and Latin America as a hot breakfast food, accompanied by a strong cup of coffee or hot chocolate. They are also sold by street vendors, who may fry them freshly on the street stand and sell them hot.
Although churros are already known before in the Philippines because of thr Spanish immigration in the past, the craze started in the country last 2014. Thanks to La Lola Churreria!
In my province, my friend’s is one of the few stores that offer churros. I’m feeling lucky because she is going to teach the basics of churros making.

2. In a pan, melt the butter and add salt, water and a tablespoon of sugar. Let it boil.
3. When it starts to boil, lower heat and add flour. Mix until well-combined.
4. Remove from heat and let this cool.
5. Mix in egg and vanilla.
