How I Make Apple Crisp Caramel Macchiato

Combining coffee and apple may raise one’s eyebrow. But let me remind you that Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato now exists and lines up with Pumpkin Spice Latte in Starbucks’ list of fall beverages. We tried it and it’s beyond our expectations! The aroma of fresh-baked apple crisp in this coffee brought nostalgic flavors of the season.

At home, we’ll just keep it simple by making apple syrup, mixing caramel and topping with oats.

1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.

  • 1 shot espresso
  • 1/2 apple
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 small cinnamon bark
  • 1/8 cup caramel syrup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Ice
  • Oats

2. Chop the apple. Make the apple syrup by heating apples, cinnamon bark and brown sugar in water over medium heat.

3. Strain the apple remnants. Allow syrup to cool.

4. Mix apple syrup and caramel syrup to enhance the caramel flavor.

5. Throw some ice.

6. Pour milk.

7. Pour the espresso shot.

8. Top with oats.

9. Your Apple Crisp Caramel Macchiato is now done and ready to be served.
