How I Make Pulled Pork Cheddar Canapé
It’s midnight and your girl is still wide awake. She is supposed to have a healthy diet but her tummy is tempting her to cheat. She went to the kitchen and found some stuff to eat. She saw pulled pork from the previous day’s lunch, 24-month aged cheddar given by her ninang and crackers she bought in Sydney. Then, she thought of making canapés out of them.
Yep! It’s midnight and we’re turning an antipasto into a midnight snack because I’m hungry.
1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.
- Crackers
- Cheddar cheese
- Pork Shoulder Cuts
- BBQ Sauce
- Maple Syrup
- Basil
- Salt
- Pepper
2. I already have my pulled pork done when I decided to make this so let me just grab my pulled pork recipe photos from my previous pulled pork dishes. Lay pork shoulder cuts on a pan. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Drench in BBQ sauce and maple syrup.
4. Preheat oven. Bake meat at 220 degrees for 25 minutes.
5. When the baking is done, this is where the pulling of pulled pork happens. Shred the pork manually using two forks. Set this aside.
6. Cut the cheddar into thin slices. I know I said thin so please excuse my thick cuts on my work. My cheese is kinda crumbly.
7. Arrange the crackers, pulled pork and cheese slices to create canapés.
8. Top with basil flakes.
9. Your Pulled Pork Cheddar Canapés are now done and ready to be served.
