Warmth And Comfort Of Home At Cafe Agapita
My husband and I agreed on having Cafe Agapita as our comfort cafe in Silang because it suits both of our interests. I’m a foodie who loves cozy, homey coffee shops, while my husband is a big bike enthusiast. Cafe Agapita caters to both of us with its cabin-like facade and interior and by being a popular hangout spot for bikers and riders, not to mention that the coffee shop is embraced by the cool Tagaytay breeze we both love.
Cafe Agapita let its customers, or ‘CaAgas,’ as they call them, experience nostalgia in every bite of their dishes and pastries, and in every sip of their coffees and teas. Their food selection includes pastas, salads, soups, sandwiches, rice meals, breads, cakes, pastries, and both coffee and non-coffee drinks. I also appreciate that they offer keto and low-carb options on the menu. So far, here are the dishes we’ve tried at Cafe Agapita.

I wanted a burger with a beef patty, but most of their burgers are made with chicken, so I opted for their Agahan Burger, which is a longganisa burger. I initially thought they would simply cut a pre-cooked sausage in half to fill the burger, along with cheese, egg, and lettuce. However, they went the extra mile and transformed the longganisa into a patty. I admired it even more when the thick patty perfectly captured the smoky flavors of longganisa. It was a job well done. They also did great with the accompanying sunny-side-up egg and thick-cut kamote fries.

When we saw bagnet on the menu, we immediately craved for the deep-fried pork belly. Their bagnet can be served with pasta or as a rice meal. We chose the Bagnet Aglio Olio because we were curious about how they would execute this intriguing combination. At first, I thought the portion of bagnet was small, but I later discovered that, in addition to the thin pork chop on top, there were also bagnet bits mixed with the pasta oil, infusing the dish with full flavor. The egg felt out of place, though. But overall, it was incredible. My companion couldn’t stop thinking about it even after we got home.
Buy Soma with no prescription Pan-fried Bangus
During our last visit, I opted for a dish labeled as low carb, and they served us a unique rice called shirataki rice. The grains were thin, similar to basmati rice, so I enjoyed munching them. The boneless bangus was large, with a generous amount of belly. I couldn’t help but clap for joy at what I got. The fish had a rub and seasoning that made it more flavorful, and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t oily. I guess this is where the low-carb preparation comes into play. I almost complained about receiving a boiled egg, but then I remembered I had ordered low-carb. It was nicely boiled as it had a golden yolk.
buy soma online Southern Fried Chicken
Just by looking at the chicken’s appearance, you can tell that something is off. The breading was so thick that I couldn’t even recognize what the food was. This affected the eating experience as well, as I ended up eating more breading than chicken. The breading made it hard to bite into, and on top of that, it was bland. It felt like we were eating hardened flour. If only they had made the batter simpler, the poultry would have turned out nicely since the chicken itself is actually luscious. I did love the potato wedges that came with it, though.
watson brand soma Twice Adobo
Cooking the adobo twice in different ways resulted in an incredible dish! It’s like a fusion of adobo flavors with Taiwanese chicken popcorn. Although the process and appearance of the chicken leaned a bit towards Taiwanese style, the drizzle clearly screamed Filipino. The sauce was just a tad sweet. The exterior was obviously crispy, as seen in its crust, while the interior was super tender. The egg would have been flawless if it had been seasoned with more salt. However, some cubes were actually just fat, which made the dish satiating after a few bites.
cheap Soma overnight delivery Ceasar Salad
There was crunch and freshness in every leaf of Cafe Agapita’s Caesar Salad, leaving a good impression. The soy marinade was clearly evident in the taste of the chicken, though I wish they had grilled it for a charred flavor. The dressing was more like mayonnaise than a traditional egg-based dressing. It had plenty of parmesan cheese, which added a nice saltiness. We also ordered the Mushroom Soup with this. The consistency was so thick that it almost resembled a chowder. I could taste the starch and cream more than the mushroom, but without focusing too much on the technicalities, the soup was actually quite delicious.
Hot Cappuccino | Iced Caramel Macchiato
It feels like I don’t have much to say about the Cappuccino since it tasted like any other cappuccino I’ve had. I couldn’t detect the flavor notes of the coffee bean because they were dominated by the milk, so the coffee bean only added bitterness to the drink. On the other hand, the Iced Caramel Macchiato had a nice blend of caramel and latte. Even though they weren’t able to expose the coffee’s notes and their mix has more on milk, the caramel syrup made the drink enjoyable.
Iced Strawberry Black Tea | Iced Matcha Latte
The Iced Strawberry Black Tea had a mild sweetness from the strawberry, allowing the earthy flavors of the tea to come through. I don’t think there was any added sweetener. It seemed like the strawberry jam alone contributed the sweetness, which was good. After all, the tea and strawberry puree complemented each other well. On the other hand, the matcha latte was too sweet for my taste. Perhaps it’s just my preference, as I generally prefer bitter matcha. However, I did appreciate how the milk touched the Japanese green tea.
