Flu-fighting Granola
It’s another day to be healthy!
Even though we are not feeling the coronavirus as much as we do before, it doesn’t mean that we have to lie low on our health.
Today, I made another granola with ingredients that boost our immune system. It isn’t just a plain granola on a bowl. It’s a flu-fighting granola! I believe that it’s always time to fight back with food, apart from having vitamins and vaccines. Therefore, I suggest to add the ingredients listed below in your breakfast granola bowls, too.
As you will see, the concept of my granola photo-taking is “breakfast in bed.” Kidding! I was just using that as my excuse for a having a lazy day today. It’s more of staying-in-bed-but-still-want-to-share-my-granola concept. Anyway, let’s just move on.
purchase Soma COD Walnuts
When it comes to preventing and fighting off colds, vitamin E tends to take a backseat to vitamin C. However, this powerful antioxidant is key to a healthy immune system. It’s a fat-soluble vitamin, which means it requires the presence of fat to be absorbed properly. Nuts, such as walnuts, are packed with the mentioned vitamin. From now on, try adding walnuts to your morning granola or simply enjoy a handful as a snack.
ONLINE COD Soma ~ Soma ORDERS COD ~ SNORTING Soma Radish
Honestly, I wasn’t fond of radish and it’s often forgotten whenever we are having Samgyeopsal feast. But I started to like it after I discovered the good effects it can do to our body, especially in our immune system. According to Dr. Ben Kim, Radish, even pickled ones, provides a plethora of micronutrients, the most prominent of which are vitamin C, folate, potassium and copper. With this, Radish is an excellent home remedy for cold. The vegetable is a good decongestant and will loosen up the phlegm.
Soma Cod Overnight Delivery Lettuce
I can’t name a leafy vegetable that doesn’t impart nutrients to our body so lettuce is definitely a good addition to out granola. Lettuce is rich in Vitamin A and Vitamin C which makes it a potential food for boosting immunity. For this granola, I put lettuce chips to add crunch to this mix. Do not worry. These chips are from Gourmet Farm. They can assure you that these chips are baked with guilt-free ingredients.
Taro
Another chips in the bowl! I opted for taro chips instead of the usual steamed taro since this will give our granola some texture. But, that doesn’t mean that it’s less healthy since these are made by Bahaghari in the healthiest possible way. Just like the fresh ones, these taro chips offer a variety of health benefits like improved blood sugar management and gut and heart health. It’s a great source of nutrients that many people don’t get enough of, including potassium, magnesium and vitamins C and E.
Tofu
But wait! Where is the liquid of this flu-fighting granola? Blend that tofu and we already have something to bind the toppings together. Yes! That is so possible, especially with tofu, which is packed with protein! We all know that low protein diets are associated with lower immune response. So it’s better to ensure you get a concentrated source of protein with tofu to keep protein intake consistent. Apart from flu, tofu keeps one’s colon healthy and cancer-risk low.
