Glamping By Taal Lake At Noni’s Resort
purchase Soma COD It was 2018 when I first discovered Noni’s Resort. It was in a Facebook post that features beaches and resorts in Batangas and ever since, Noni’s Resort is in my travel bucket list.
http___www.bigleaguekickball.com_category_press_ online soma sale During that time, our college budget won’t allow us stay in a resort as grand as this. I had the opportunity when I was looking for a summer destination after my college graduation but that time, Noni’s Resort was fully-booked on our available dates so we ended up having our staycation in an Airbnb room in Pico de Loro in Nasugbu. Then, here came the pandemic and lockdown all over the country. Finally, last week, I marked a box on my bucket list.
Noni’s Resort is a haven for those who seek relaxation. It is located on a hillside of Alitagtag and it is surrounded with farm, lake and basically everything you see in a country living. Noni’s Resort’s main theme is glamping and staycation so it mostly exhibits small-scale houses.
The first thing to love at Noni’s Resort is the cabins overlooking the panorama of Taal volcano and its lake. We also got the view of the Tagaytay ridges, since Alitagtag is across Tagaytay, and the lush green Mount Maculot. With this, our eyes and hearts are already full! Moreover, it’s a private cabin so we definitely find peace and serenity in this kind of environment.
The receiving area of Noni’s Resort isn’t the spacious lobby we usually visualize. They got a little space yet they were able to maximize it to set the reception area, a lot of tables, welcome drinks station and pool table. On the side, they got a mini convenience store. I suggest to put a simple cafe in this room because a cafe is suitable in this kind of set up. After all, a bar is already here.
We arrived here an hour early so we first took a rest at their lounge. I already obtained a positive impression because we were welcomed with Noni’s Resort’s friendly staff. Since we still have to wait for an hour, some of their staff did a little chitchat with us. They were surprised with the fact that we just went here by riding a motorcycle. And when they learned that we came from Mindoro, they let us meet some employees who are also from our province. One of them guided us to our room and properly gave us a brief about the cabin.
Noni’s Resort has has a number of villas that are designed for groups. Each one looks differently from one another so the whole resort is kinda messy to look at from afar. The layout appears like a village on a hillside. But each villas and cabins looks luxurious. among them, I like the Talisay Cabin best. It has the architecture and interior that fits our preference. That’s why I really search for the date when it was available. It’s a small shack with size that is just enough for the two of us.
This cabin is the exact glamping experience we’re dreaming. It’s cozy and elegant at the same time. I must say that they got a brilliant interior designer for this room. They were able to maximize the space. It’s small yet everything we need in a glamping is here. The house is well-ventilated and well-lit. It’s absolutely Instagram-worthy! They even used strip lights instead of bulbs for a more dramatic effect. By the way, thanks for the complementary wine and cookies! There are lot of free stuff here. I’m loving it!
My favorite spot in the room, especially at night, is the attic. Yes! This cabin has another floor! Although it just situates a mattress, we feel comfortable sleeping here while viewing the scenery through this triangular window. I’m amazed that they were able to fit in two twin beds, which are both cushy to lie on, not to mention the sala, bath and toilet rooms, drinking area, sanitation area inside. Don’t worry if your battery gets low because there are numerous electric outlets here.
It took time when they opened the plunge pool or perhaps, they follow a schedule on when they’ll turn the bubbles on. Nevertheless, if you’re just looking for a place to unwind just like us, even though this is just a small infinity pool, this is already great. The water is heated so dipping is totally relaxing. Honestly, we can spend the whole day here, only if we don’t have work-from-vacay to do.
Guests can bring food inside but Noni’s Resort also have a restaurant where they can eat. Most visitors make use of their designated dining areas so they have their food delivered to their respective rooms. Ours is with this wonderful fire pit, where we can grill food and make s’mores. With the magnificent view of Taal Lake, how can we not enjoy eating here?
Since the town proper is a few minutes away, we chose to have our dinner here and ordered Oxtail with Kamto Kare Kare and Halo Halo. For the Kare Kare, my palate was looking for that rich peanut flavor on the sauce. It was also lacking in beefy taste of the meat. But the oxtail was good and tender. The Halo Halo is good even on the cold evening. They gave us complementary breakfast in the morning and we had Bacon Continental Breakfast and Pork Tocino Filipino Breakfast. There’s nothing really special with the flavors but they made sure we had our tummy full because the breakfast sets contain a lot. I suggest that they add s’mores for that ultimate campfire experience and samgyeopsal set in their menu. That’ll be an interesting option!
Aside from the private amenities of each villas, Noni’s Resort also have other facilities where guests can spend and enjoy their leisure time. There’s a big pool, a dining restaurant, game room and playground. Although these areas urge people to do some fun activities, we didn’t make use of these as we are already to contented with our private pool and grill area. Perhaps, my only concern would be the unsafe parking slot. I hope they can invest for a more secure parking area because our vehicle got scratches when we got out of the resort.
I think, from the words I’ve written, it’s evident that we truly enjoyed our trip at Noni’s Resort. We got to experience luxury hotel and mountain camping in one. I have friends who are also attracted to the place when I posted our photos and they’ll try to book one day. I’ll come back, too, if I had the chance! In summary, let me share our clips that we posted in our TikTok accounts.
