How To Make Blueberry Peppermint Spritzer
It’s the 398th day of quarantine period in our region and on this lazy day, I’m literally making a wine spritzer on my super messy bed in my pajamas. It’s so hot outside and I just wanna live in my air-conditioned roon with a refreshing fizzy drink in my hand.
The idea of blueberry peppermint spritzer started when I learned the way of transforming jams into ice to give a good blend and appearance to drinks. I chose spritzer because I saw the Fizzy Concord Grape Spritzer recipe on Smucker’s Instagram page so I though blueberry would probably make a good one, too.
It did, especially with that butter white wine I had!
1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.
- 300g blueberry jam
- a candy cane
- 1 cup club soda
- 1 tbsp white wine
2. Get your ice cube tray and fill half of the molds with jam. Then, pour water over it.
3. Place in freezer overnight.
4. Chop candy cane into bits.
5. Fill glasses with a teaspoon of crushed candy cane in each.
6. Throw some blueberry ice into the glasses.
7. Pour a cup of club soda in each glasses.
8. Finish with a tablespoon of white wine in each glass. The amount of wine is actually up to you.
9. Your Blueberry Peppermint Spritzer is now done and ready to be served.
