How To Make Lemon Cream Cheese Trifle
We went to S&R to buy essentials and ingredients for Breen. We bought ten jars of Nutella. Little did we know that each jar has free Sari Roti soft bread that is expiring soon. What should I do with ten packs of bread loaves? I immediately searched for inspirations and recipes that has loaves of bread as an ingredient. That’s when I thought of icebox cake with layers of bread slices and lemon cream cheese.
After all, mom still has untouched lemons on her basket and it seems like she doesn’t know what to do with them. I also have here rejected cream cheese and whipped cream combination since we wouldn’t want to release substandard ingredients at Breen. So I just combined them all here and made this trifle. Happily, it satisfied the whole house.

soma cod saturday 2. I have ready-made cream here because we regularly use it at Breen. I made this by mixing whipping cream, cream cheese and condensed milk.
3. For the lemon flavor, I just added a quarter cup of lemon juice and a quarter teaspoon of vanilla extract.
4. Get a lemon and peel its zest.
5. Fold in lemon zest on the cream. This zest will give the strongest tang and flavor into the cream. Set this aside.
6. Flatten the bread loaves. I discovered that my metal straw is the most effective tool for this process if you don’t have a rolling pin.
7. Start layering with the compressed bread slices.
8. Brush some lemon juice into the bread.
9. Spread the lemon cream on top. Continue doing the last three steps until you reach the top.
10. Decorate. You can have lemon slices on top but my boyfriend don’t like them so I used graham crumbs instead. It’s actually up to you.
12. Place in the fridge for an hour or overnight.
13. Your Lemon Cream Cheese and Bread Icebox Cake is now done and ready to be served.
