How To Make Peach Ice Cream Cake
It’s the 356th day of quarantine period in our region. Okay, it’s just an update. Anyway, today is ice cream day! I know you’re gonna love this because who doesn’t love ice cream?
Making an ice cream base that can serve two ice cream cans, I’m planning to divide this sesh into two parts. For the first ice cream base, we’ll be having Neapolitan Banana Split and for the second ice cream base, we’ll be having Peach Ice Cream Cake.
I thought of having peach-flavored one because I have this big jar of peach jam here. If you could remember, I also made Peach Espresso Con Panna, which surprisgly turned out amazing.
Let’s try it on ice cream.
1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.
- 500ml all purpose cream
- 350ml condensed milk
- 2 cups graham crumbs
- 3 tbsps sugar
- half cup butter
- half cup peach jam
2. Before making this, make sure to chill all purpose cream and condensed milk overnight for easy whipping.
3. Start by making the graham crust. I already have ready-made one here since I’m using it for the blueberry cheesecake I’m selling. I just mixed graham crumbs, sugar and melted butter to make this.
4. Scoop a cup of graham crust and flatten at the bottom of ice cream can. Place this in the fridge for the meantime.
5. Once the cream is ready, whip it until soft peaks form.
6. Pour condensed milk and continue whipping. Notice its rise.
7. For this dish, I am only using cream half of the whipped cream. I’ll be using the other half for my Neapolitan Banana Split. Anyway, I folded in the peach jam into this whipped cream.
8. Pour the peach cream into the ice cream can over the graham crust.
9. I also added little peach swirls on top.
10. Your Peach Ice Cream Cake is now done and ready to be served.
