It’z Freshly Squeezed Lemon Time!

It’s the 380th day of quarantine period in our region and I’m sorry for not staying at home a while ago. I was having my lemon time at Xentro Mall Calapan. My photo is obviously Tiktok-edited but I’m not lying about my recent visit there. I was just shy taking a selfie in mall in front of people so I just took a photo of their stall and put myself in to complete that It’z Lemon Time experience. Anyway, even before pandemic, I’m already a customer of It’z Lemon Time. Let’s see what I’ve tried so far.

Classic Lemonade

It’s already the time of pandemic when I ordered this in their Xentro Mall Calapan branch and I think, they do not make other flavors anymore as this is the only lemonade available in the stall whenever I ask the staff because I always visit and check. It’s just sad and disappointing. Anyway, talking about their Classic Lemonade, it was as clear as water, but surprisingly, it has the acidity of a  lemonade. It doesn’t have that wow factor though.

Pink Lemonade

I already got my first impression when they handed me the drink. Based on the appearance, it’s already upsetting because the 16-ounce cup isn’t full so basically, they are lying with the 16 ounce size. I also added strawberry popping boba and I could literally count them! It’s a good thing that this popping boba blends with the pink lemonade. I could feel the freshness with this one and could tell its difference to the powdered lemonade.

Wintermelon Lemonade 

This is Wintermelon Lemonade or should I say Winterlemon. Please laugh. Anyway, I chose this because I’m wondering what would the mixture of wintermelon and lemon would taste like. We all know that wintermelon is a fruit flavor that is usually used on milk teas and not on lemonade that’s why I’m wondering. It tastes weird but it’s good. I could taste the wintermelon syrup but not it’s fruitiness. Glad the lemon is natural. It’s like I’m drinking a red tea.

Peppermint Lemonade

I can really feel the natural flavors of lemon. However, at first, I can’t feel the coolness and refreshing effect of the mint. It’s like this drink has no mint. The mint just came out when I finished the drink. It has this bitter taste, which I can’t determine if it’s from the mint or the lemon seeds. The nata brought sweetness to the lemonade so I love that it lessens the tanginess. It’s just sad that the nata is lacking. I saw that add-ons are supplied in packs. 

Mango Lemonade

What’s the purpose of their shaker if they aren’t shaking the lemonade so well? If you buy from It’z Lemon Time, I suggest to shake it first before opening to have that nice combination of lemonade and it’s flavor, which is mango, in this case. With this, I was able to appreciate the burst of two fruit flavors. Even when combined, I like that the mango isn’t dominating and it still gives way to the tanginess of lemonade.
