KeepAll Bali Adventure: Yukkk!

Bali is a haven for adventure seekers and KeepAll Bali Adventure is one of its most popular ATV destinations. Nestled in the lush landscapes of Ubud, this attraction offers a unique blend of thrill and nature. They surely gave us an unforgettable experience through diverse terrains and scenic views.

KeepAll Adventure wasn’t originally a priority on our itinerary—it was just something we considered adding if we had extra time that day. However, my husband insisted on going, and how could I say no? Trail riding is his hobby, after all. With trail bikes and trucks back home, he’s always up for anything that involves rough roads and rugged terrain. So, we decided to make the trip and see what KeepAll Bali had to offer.

The trail at KeepAll Bali Adventure is massive. It was divided into several sections, each showcasing a different part of Bali’s natural beauty. While I can’t recall the exact number of sections, we were lucky to experience some highlights like the picturesque paddy fields, a cave with a waterfall, a bumpy lagoon, and a rough road filled with potholes for that extra challenge.

One of the most exciting parts of the ride was navigating the jungle. The bumpy terrain, riddled with potholes, tested our ATV skills and added a jolt of adrenaline to the journey. At first, it was kinda boring because the road was dry. Thankfully, the guide led us to a more exciting section. Every turn and bump made us hold on tighter, laugh louder, and appreciate the sheer thrill of the adventure.

Riding through the lagoon was equally unforgettable. The water splashed as the ATV powered through, creating ripples that reflected the surrounding greenery. It was a refreshing contrast to the muddy trails, and the cool breeze made it an absolute joy. My husband totally enjoyed drifting the ATV around the circular lagoon. He almost forgot that he had a back ride and it was me, holding tight on the ATV’s handle.

The cave was a highlight, too. Riding into its dark, cool interior, we were greeted by the sound of water cascading from above. Although it wasn’t a real waterfall and was just a water continuously dropping from above, it added a mystical touch to the ride. The carved figure at the cave’s openings made for some amazing photos as well!

In between the different types of trails, we passed by paddy fields, which offered a more tranquil experience. As the ATV rolled along the narrow paths, the vibrant green of the rice paddies stretched endlessly, creating a breathtaking backdrop. It was a moment to soak in Bali’s rural charm and connect with its agricultural roots.

KeepAll Bali provides all the necessary gear, including helmets and boots. Look at me slaying it! However, the helmets were a bit smelly, so they thoughtfully provided shower caps as liners. The facility also includes toilets, shower rooms, and changing areas, ensuring riders can freshen up after their adventure. There are lockers as well so guests can keep their belongings safely.

Another great feature of KeepAll is its pool. Perfect for a post-ride cool down, the infinity pool overlooks lush greenery, making it an ideal spot to relax and take in the views. Honestly, we didn’t feel the need to visit a jungle day club anymore because this already looked like a smaller version minus the crowd. It wasn’t the party club type, though. Instead, it offered a more peaceful and intimate vibe, perfect for unwinding after an adventure-filled day.

Beside the pool is a charming pool bar designed like a mini bamboo house, adding a rustic yet stylish touch to the area. I wonder what drinks the pool bar offers aside from Bintang because I didn’t get the chance to try any. I was being thrifty at the time, and we were still full from our earlier meal, so indulging in a drink didn’t feel necessary.

The package we availed has a complimentary lunch. There are three options – fried rice, fried noodles and fries. However, compared to all the meals I had in my whole Bali trip, it was one of the least desirable. I had Mie Goreng, but it tasted like instant noodles, and the meat was dry. My companions ordered rice meals, but they found them unappetizing and didn’t finish them.

This is where we ate our lunch. It was a nice resting place and waiting area as its open design allowed the nice breeze to enter, making it comfortable most of the time. However, during lunch hours, it becomes crowded, noisy and wet as people fresh from the pool or rides gathered, which slightly dampened the experience. Perhaps, it was just during the time of our visit because it suddenly rained heavily during that time.

Ubud is home to plenty of ATV rentals, each offering unique trails and packages. From small operators to well-established adventure hubs, you’ll find no shortage of options to explore Bali’s diverse landscapes on an ATV. While KeepAll Bali Adventure offers an exciting range of trails, I couldn’t help but feel a tinge of regret after discovering other ATV rentals in Ubud through Klook. Many of these options were much cheaper and offered comparable, if not better, experiences.
