I thought it was bigger. They seem big in the photo but it’s cheap given that it’s an imported cheesecake. The cake part is moist. The melt-in-the-mouth mousse part is light and creamy. The chocolate flavor is not too sweet and irresistible. The cheese flavor has thick cream but still delish in its own way. I can hardly choose which is better between the two.

Woah! I got the chance to try different flavors of Kumori’s Yakigashi while it’s still promo time. Butter Rum reminds me of mamon but moister and sweeter having the flavor notes of butter rum. I’m kinda weirded out with the Sweet Date flavor but my mom finished it. I love the addition of Oreo into the Banana Slice. The Salted Cheese slice was s unique take.

I’m really thankful to Kumori for bringing this popular Japanese bun in the Philippines. The Melon Pan has resemblance to Bread Talk‘s Rocky Rocky Milk. We are sucker of floss buns so we didn’t miss Kumori’s Lion Prince. It’s so cute! The Lion King fan in me is attracted. While the floss displays unique flavors, the bun is just ordinary and airy.

The Danish pastry is kinda bland, perhaps, to give way to the flavors of apple and cheese in the middle. The apple jam is kinda sour. I actually thought it’s pineapple at first. The cheese balances everything. Even after a day of purchase, the Almond Custard Croissant is still soft. But just like the Danish, it is bland and the custard filling is lacking.

I’m loving the bacon and bonito combo! Who would have thought that the thick wood-like toppings would be so meaty and flavorful like the bacon. The bread was an incredible base for these savory delights. On the other hand, the Apple Raisin Bun feels more like a Cinnamon Roll because the apple is lacking and the cinnamon is dominating.

The brioche I know is the one like a ball with a head and the one baked in loaf pan. I’m surprised to see Kumori’s version, which is like a fluffly soft bun with a blueberry tart pressed in the middle. I like the idea, actually. The bun is creamy and cheesy at the same time. However, paper under bread is oily which indicates the oiliness of the brioche.

There’s no denying that the bread is really soft. Making soft buns is already a piece of cake for them. The tuna is yummy yet sour. I don’t know if it’s because of the juice of the tuna or the additives like mayonnaise. I also tried the Coffee Pan. It’s great.
