How To Make Indian Mango Pudding
I’m not really familiar with Indian cuisine, especially with their dessert. But browsing Youtube, I got to find this amazing mango dessert that my family loved and you, readers, will surely love. Of course, I don’t want to be the only one that’s craving over an Indian Mango Pudding so I followed Dim Cook Guide’s recipe and will share to you how it is made.
But before anything else, let me give you a quick background about Mango Pudding. It’s a famous and easy Indian dessert that is rich and creamy and is made with mango pulp and cream. Don’t confuse it with jelly, which is more solid, mousse, which is lighter and custard, which is thicker.
1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.
- 2 pieces of Mango
- 90g Sugar
- 12g Gelatin
- 225ml Milk
- 50ml Whipping Cream
- 170ml Water
2. Reserve one side of a mango for fillings and cut into cubes.
3. Get the rest of the mango cheeks and place in the blender.
4. Puree.
5. Mix in 225ml milk.
6. Strain mango cream to remove solid particles.
7. Add whipping cream.
8. Dissolve gelatin over low heat.
9. Remove from heat and pour the mango mixture.
10. Fill your glasses with this delight.
11. Drop the mango cubes you made earlier.
12. Place in fridge overnight.
13. Your Indian Mango Pudding is now done and ready to be served.
