Nusa Penida’s Breathtaking Viewpoints And Cliff Formations
cheap Soma overnight delivery We already tackled our Bali swing, Bedugul-Ubud tour, Bali beach, Hindu temple and campur dinner experiences on my previous blogs. It’s time to talk about our cliff-hopping adventure in Nusa Penida.
http___www.bigleaguekickball.com_category_press_ order soma for over night delivery Nusa Penida is a separate island in Indonesia. It belongs to the province of Bali but it has a spectacular natural landscape that is different from the main island. Blessed with numerous mountains, cliffs and beaches, Nusa Penida is more of a hike and dive site. For our trip, I don’t know but our tour guide brought us to the cliff parts of Nusa Penida.
Soma OVERNIGHT COD ~ Soma COD NO SCRIPT The original itinerary for the day’s tour consists of Rumah Pohon, Diamond Beach, Angel Billabong and Broken Beach. But after climbing high and steep steps at Rumah Pohon, we canceled other destinations that require trekking. Our bodies are weak when it comes to this activity. It’s a big no! Therefore, we headed to Rumah Pohon, Paluang Cliff, Angel Billabong and Broken Beach instead. All Nusa Penida spots in this post are cliffs. So it’s purely for sightseeing and discovery and there are no swimming.
The place that I looked forward the most in Nusa Penida is Rumah Pohon, the famous tree house in Bali. From the photo alone, you’ll instantly understand why it’s all over Instagram and why I badly wanted my own version. Rumah Pohon features the beauty of nature at its best. I can’t believe that this view is real because the setting totally looks magical. I’m glad that we didn’t skip this point, even though it was hassle going up and down here.
Rumah Pohon took my breath away figuratively and literally. It required physical effort to get to the tree house. But the tiring trek was worthy because we were rewarded with this breathtaking scene of Nusa Penida’s towering rocks and turquoise waters surrounded by the shady forests. From up here, guests can also witness the famous Diamond Beach. At morning, they can watch an epic sunrise, painting red and yellow hues into the blue sky.
I’m not really sure about the purpose of building these huts aside from being a photo-taking spot. Our tour guide says that the huts are empty but upon searching the net, I learned that Rumah Pohon is accepting guests for accommodation. Nonetheless, we are already satisfied with taking pictures here. I think I couldn’t sleep in a house that requires a fifteen-minute hike.
When talking about Nusa Penida, I always hear Angel Billabong so I immediately obtained high expectations on the place. They say that the place is enchantingly unique because of the formation of the lagoon between rock cliffs that looks like an infinity pool. Okay! I can see that but I couldn’t appreciate it, honestly. Perhaps, it was a bad day when we visited. There was a heavy downpour so that explains the banana leaf I’m holding.
A little walk from here led us to another sight of a lagoon. Enclosed in a circled cliff with cave-like holes, Broken Beach is like a pond with tunnels that penetrate to the sea. I must say that I’m impressed this time. However, both Angel Billabong and Broken Beach are neither open for diving nor swimming. So if you’re here to explore and take photos, then, it’s good. But if you’re to enjoy, I don’t think it’ll be productive to go here.
After lunch, we headed straight to Paluang Cliff. There isn’t much to see, to be honest, aside from the view of Kelingking Rock Cliff, which is said to be instagrammable. However, we weren’t able to appreciate it much because the scenery was gloomy, perhaps, due to rain. After all, we just find it similar to ocean views displayed in other cliffs. We just took a shot at the observation tower while we were taking shade from the rain.
Just like in the main island of Bali, there are also instruments for picture-taking here at Paluang Cliff. It’s a Bali thing, you know. There are normal-sized swings, bird’s nests of different styles, a wooden bow of a boat and this giant hand, with the left angle of Kelingking mountain ridges at the background. Anyway, I don’t know what’s the story behind this hand. They say it’s famous.
Included in our tour is a complementary lunch at Kawan Restaurant. It’s an al fresco restaurant located at the second floor of a building so one side is a dining area with balcony. I noticed that most restaurants here in Nusa Penida, including the one at Rumah Pohon, are terraced restaurants. But I absolutely understand that, given that there’s an outdoor scene as beautiful as what Nusa Penida can offer.
I had satay. It was the simplest satay I had in Bali and yet it tastes savory and authentic. You’ll definitely have it best when you buy it in warung. However, four sticks aren’t enough for the amount of rice given. I paired my meal with iced coffee and it’s for the sweet tooth and not for the java lover. I guess, they just made it for the mere purpose of having it into their menu. On the other hand, the banana shake was awesome. They used saba banana.
I’d like to end my Nusa Penida story with an appreciation post to New Sanur Harbor, the port for boat transfer to Nusa Penida. The terminal is equipped with facilities that truly bring convenience to passengers. Although there are a lot of tourists to accommodate, the way they manage them is organized. I just couldn’t help it. This port is far more beautiful than what we have in the Philippines.
