How I Make Three Cheese Prosciutto Pizza
I’m planning to make an array of dishes that use three or four kinds of cheese but I think I should start with the three cheese dish we all love – Three Cheese Pizza!
It’s just a simple pizza topped with different kinds of cheese, sometimes added with bechamel sauce or tomato sauce, yet I can’t explain the savoriness it gives. All I know is it’s addictive. Actually, whenever I’m in a pizza house and see its menu, my eyes directly focuses on the Three Cheese Pizza in the midst of the meaty ones.
Here’s a disclaimer though. The pizza crust I have here is a ready-to-bake one because the last thing I want to do is to knead a pizza dough. You can have a homemade crust for this recipe. I also opted for Bechamel base and added some Prosciutto and basil.

- Mozzarella
- Gouda
- Cheddar
- 1/2 stick butter
- 5 tbsp flour
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- Prosciutto
- Basil
2. Make bechamel sauce by mixing melted butter and flour over medium heat.
3. Gradually pour milk while stirring.
4. Remove from heat and mix in grated parmesan, nutmeg, salt and pepper.
5. Prepare crust and spread bechamel sauce.
6. Shred the mozzarella, gouda and cheddar. I have mine ready because I bought them shredded.
7. Top pizza with shredded cheese.
8. Bake in preheated oven for ten minutes at 220 degrees Celsius.
9. Add and scatter the prosciutto strips and bring this back to oven for five more minutes.
10. Sprinkle basil flakes on top.
11. Your Three Cheese Prosciutto Pizza is now done and ready to be served.
