It’s a good thing that they offer deliveries in my area. Their packages are already complete with meat, side dishes and cooking equipment. It’s so good that I ordered twice for two consecutive weeks. At that moment, I already knew that I have to visit the restaurant. And last Monday was the moment!

It was beautiful inside. The design was comforting and calm in the eyes. Aside from the exquisitely-done interior, the top-grade equipments are noticeable. I could easily tell that the owners invested a lot on grillers, smoke extractors, ventilation, call bells and more to surely give quality experience for the customers. I know I don’t have to say this but it is actually a plus factor that I didn’t end up smelling like burnt charcoal afterwards.

Since we went for the unlimited package, the restaurant gave us a maximum of two hours stay. Honestly, two hours aren’t enough. But luckily, we were able to maximize the given time mainly because of the fast service. I was still reading the menu when the food arrived. The call bells were also helpful to call the attention of the waiters. Plus, the fire under the griller was strong making the meat crispy and quick to cook.

We decided to avail Set C, which includes six types of unlimited pork and beef. It’s totally worth the price, considering the stellar quality of the food. Surprisingly, the pork wasn’t satiating no matter how many cuts I ate consecutively. Moreover, the flavored pork can easily be identified even when mixed with unmarinated pork because of its strong herb seasoning. I can’t remember having Gochujang Samgyeopsal on our table though. That makes me sad.

Of course, our favorites were in the beef section. My companions loved the US Premium Beef with Bulgogi Sauce because it’s already flavorful even without the Samgyeopsal sauces. Everything’s delicious but for me, it was the Seasoned US Premium Beef that stood out. They added incredible flavors it but was able to retain the natural beefy taste. It seems that they used Angus beef. They’re thinly sliced so they’re easy to cook and enjoyable to eat.

With Set C, we also got unlimited side dishes, rice, lettuce and dipping sauces. The Baby Braised Potatoes was the star. We keep on returning its saucer for refills. Their Kimchi wasn’t the best. I like the touch of spiciness and tanginess into it but the flavor of ginger was strong. The cheese dip is light and it doesn’t overwhelm the taste of the meat. But personally, I always choose to dip my meat into the soybean paste before wrapping them in lettuce leaf.

Melona wasn’t available but they gave us ice cream in cups, which seemed to be homemade. The texture was kinda weird but the taste was just fine. They’re milky and rich in their respective flavors at the same time. I wasn’t able to try the chocolate but my companion approved it. On the other hand, the mango was my boyfriend’s choice among the three. I like the presentation. The pastel colors of the ice cream looked adorable on this mini wooden board.

Overall, it was a glorious Korean lunch feast! I’ve tried a number of Samgyeopsal in Oriental Mindoro and I’m sorry to say that Mr. Won Samgyeopsal Korean Restaurant is the only one that offers a decent KBBQ in the province. With wonderful ambiance, great service and premium meat, this restaurant is actually comparable to some of the famous Korean restaurants in Manila. Gomawo, Mr. Won!
