How I Make Korean Seaweed Soup

Locally known as miyeokguk, seaweed soup is traditionally served on someone’s birthday and is eaten after giving birth in Korea. When I discovered this dish on Korean dramas such as Hometown Cha Cha Cha and Nevertheless, I found Seaweed Soup interesting because in our country, it is usually stir-fried noodles that is served on the birthday table. While we, Filipinos, believe that eating noodles give us long life, Koreans believe that seaweed has nutritional value beneficial to postnatal care.

It was my birthday last Friday and I decided to celebrate it in Korean way!
