How I Make Iced Hibiscus Tea
So I ordered these boxes of dried loose flower tea at Nature’s Apothecary for my primary sponsors at our upcoming wedding and I got myself a free hibiscus tea pyramid! I was happy because there’s one for me when I thought that all I ordered was for giveaways only.
Anyway, I’ll be utilizing this dried hibiscus flowers and make myself Agua de Jamaica, Central America’s Iced Hibiscus Tea. This cooler is a famous drink that is sold in the streets of Mexico and neighboring countries. If you heard about Agua Fresca, Agua de Jamaica is one of it. It is recognized through its tart cranberry-like flavor.
Just like you, I was curious as to why it is called Agua de Jamaica when it is more popular in Mexico. Well, Jamaica is simply the origin of this healthy drink.
Mexicans and Jamaicans alike both consume Iced Hibisus Tea for its rich health benefits, which includes the promotion weight loss, reduction of growth of bacteria and cancer cells and support for the health of the heart and liver. There’s no reason to not to make one.
