The Unlimited Korean BBQ Experience At Mashitta

soma cod saturday It is a rainy July in Pinamalayan, yet the gloomy weather didn’t stop locals from trying and dining at the newest Korean BBQ restaurant in town.

http___www.bigleaguekickball.com_about_ Order Soma online overnight FedEx delivery It was coincidental that I discovered Mashitta Unlimited Korean BBQ and Hotpot when an explosion incident happened in Mr. Won’s Samgyeopsal so I was becoming distant to Korean BBQ during that time. But I know that Mashitta already has two branches before Pinamalayan as I pass by Calapan and Naujan frequently. It’s a surprise that they opened up a branch in Pinamalayan so I guess it is a sign to finally try out their Samgyeopsal.

They also have ala carte meals. I’ve heard that Mashitta serves hotpot as well but I haven’t seen it yet in their Pinamalayan branch. We already visited twice since its opening and in both times, we ordered Set B, which has unlimited pork and beef.

For me, the Beef Belly stood out the most. It was unmarinated so I could definitely taste the quality and natural flavors of the beef. Runners-up are the Sesame Pork and Beef Bulgogi. The Samgyeopsal was like ham though. But I appreciate the pork for not having too much fats in them so we didn’t get satiated during the whole dinner.

The white onion gave sweetness while its sauce is sour and salty. The lettuce salad and cucumber kimchi both brought freshness on the table. The mashed potato is my favorite. Honestly, I’m meticulous when it comes to mashed potato and I’m happy they brought out its creaminess in taste and texture without sacrificing the flavors of the potato. The mashed tofu is new to me. Thanks for introducing it to us but I didn’t like it.

Soma fast delivery no doctors Sadly, we have to add payment for fishcake but we still gave it a try. I like the texture of the fishcake despite of being submerged in too much sauce. However, they didn’t got the sauce right. The sauce tasted more like UFC sweet and sour sauce than a fishcake gochujang sauce. Moreover, we also added cheese dip to our order since it wasn’t included in the set. Since it was placed on a thick dish, it took a long time to melt. I actually thought it would be solid the entire time. But once melted, it tasted heaven! It’s so good with the grilled meat!

The dips included in the set are salt and pepper, samjang, gochujang and sweet and spicy sauce. Our companions loved the samjang since Mashitta’s version is kinda sweet. But my husband and I prefer to dip the meat first in sesame oil before dipping it in salt and pepper. Thankfully, they granted us a free serving of sesame oil when we asked for it. Anyway, the salt and pepper weren’t the ones we can buy in the local market. The quality of these seasonings are bursting in its flavors.

They also have a la carte noodles, soup and rice meals for those do not want to avail the unlimited Korean barbecue.

I had their Sweet and Spicy Tteok-bokki one time. It’s evident that the tteok-bokki was boiled for more hours than it should be so it was too soft. It almost looked like a crabstick in soup. But it didn’t matter because the dish was satisfying. I’m happy that they put the right sauce for fishcake this time. It had the right amount spiciness in it. I also liked the hint of tanginess. It had generous servings of tteok-bokki and fishcake slices. It was incredible. I bet they can make a good tteok-bokki ramyeon, too.

Just like in Korea, when there’s Samgyeopsal, there’s Soju. Soju is the perfect drink for this meal because it helps wash away the greasiness of the samgyeopsal. After all, it makes the hangout of the barkada happier. So I’m glad that Mishitta offers it. For non-alcoholic drinkers like us, there are juice and soft drinks as well. Perhaps, they can also add Korean ice cream or delights to their menu like Melona because my palate was looking for something sweet after eating a lot of savory dishes. Desserts can ease the satiety of the customers.

The waiters were polite and attentive so the service was fast. I was actually looking for the buzzer on each tables when we arrived but with quick service like this, I don’t think we need them anymore. I’m also surprised to see top-grade equipments from grillers to smoke extractors and ventilation because it is Pinamalayan’s first time to have a samgyeopsal house that is as superior as this. I noticed that they’re using charcoal to fire up the grill. This creates perfect sear on meat when cooking. Moreover, the exhaust fans were working well because we left the restaurant without carrying the smell of the food.
