How I Make Brie Apple Galette
After my birthday celebration, I found myself with some leftover goodies from the charcuterie board my mother gave me. Among them are brie, apple and peanuts. Instead of letting them sit in the fridge, I decided to give them a new life by making a Brie Apple Galette, along with Brie Grape Canapé.
If you’re looking for the perfect balance of sweet and savory, this Brie Apple Galette is it! The creamy, rich brie pairs beautifully with the natural sweetness of apples, all wrapped in a golden crust. It’s rustic, elegant, and surprisingly easy to make. It’s a perfect treat for any occasion.
Not everyone has a ready-made puff pastry sheet at home so I made a galette out of tortilla wrap.
1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.
- Brie
- Tortilla Wrap
- Apple
- Muscovado Sugar
- Milk
- Chopped Peanuts
2. Cut the apple in flat slices.
3. Do this on Brie as well. Mine is already pre-cut since it’s from a cheese board.
4. Arrange cheese on galette crust.
5. Place sliced apple and fold the edges of the crust.
6. Use milk as egg wash and brush on the edges of the crust.
7. Sprinkle with muscovado sugar and chopped nuts.
8. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
9. Your Brie Apple Galette is now done and ready to be served.
