How I Make Apple Gouda Canapé

Last week, my mom gave me a board of charcuterie for my birthday. She knows how I love it. She knows that I’ll be able to finish a big box all by myself. That’s how I love cured meats and cheese.

On its last day, when the cured meat slices were gone, I decided to make canapés using the remaining items in the board. It’s so fitting because I still have smoked gouda, apple, honey and crackers.

Canapés are a type of hors d’oeuvre or French appetizer that consists of a piece of a base layer such as cracker which is topped with something savoury and designed to be consumed in one bite. With the things I have, I created Apple Gouda Canapés.
