I was assuming that it would just be like Enchanted Kingdom or Star City. Besides, I never watched Mickey Mouse and his friends and I’m not familiar with Marvel superheroes. However, the moment I saw the arc, with Tokyo Disneyland written on it, hit me differently. It seems that all the Disney fairytales and musical films I’ve watched had a flashback in my mind. I started hearing the enchating fanfare in the background and I got these nostalgic feels of the fairytale dreams I had when I was a little girl. It’s the magic of the Disneyland!

Disneyland has more relaxing and slow-paced kid-friendly rides compared to Disney Sea so the little ones can enjoy every single ride with ease. Out of the 49 rides, parades and shows, our time, energy and preference allowed us to try –.

Most of the rides in Disneyland are using slow conveyor system, wherein guests will just sit on moving cars, surrounded by amusing decorations that are based on Disney themes. An example of this is the Snow White’s Adventure.

Some of the attractions are simply walk-through and viewing spots like the Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall, which is located exactly inside the main castle. In this castle, we witnessed the throne room and Cinderella’s glass slipper.

The Mark Twain Riverboat is just a tour around the man-made river of Disneyland. In the same river, Tom Sawyer Island Rafts and Beaver Brothers Explorer Canoes also takes place.

To roam around the compound by land, the Western River Railroad and the Omnibus are willing to accommodate guests comfortably.

While riding these two vehicles, it feels like I know everyone in the plaza as if we’re living in one community. Everyone is waving at each other like how Belle greets everyone in her village.

We didn’t miss seeing the ghosts, goblins and ghouls in The Haunted Mansion. It wasn’t scary but I totally admire the way they created the animatronics of the inhabitants. It felt more of a museum exhibiting spectacular works than a amusement park ride.

We lined up for 40 minutes to ride the Big Thunder Mountain. It was a chill fun ride but it was already the most thrilling ride in Disneyland, alongside Splash Mountain, Gadget’s Go Coaster and Space Mountain.

I already felt old riding the Castle Carrousel, Dumbo: The Flying Elephant and Alice’s Tea Party so I skipped these adventures and saved my seat for younger ones. But these rides are so striking. It’s impossible for me not to take a photo.

It’s A Small World is more fitting to young riders as well but I truly appreciated the creative artworks inside. If only I have more eyes to look at everything at once. It’s A Small World lets guests ride on a boat just like in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Indoor shows include Country Bear Theater, which is actually first shown in Disneyland theme parks before being released on screen, Stitch Encounter, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Mickey’s Magical Music World, Jamboree Mickey! Let’s Dance! and Club Mouse Beat.

We had fun talking with Stitch at Stitch Encounter. It was an interactive show so it didn’t made us bored at all. I love the part when he took a selfie with the audience and showed a photo of us on screen. But Stitch in Tokyo Disneyland is Japanese. We couldn’t follow what he was saying quickly.

Upon entrance, there are boutiques, parlors, restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops and other various stores. There’s even penny arcade! Walking in this street looks like I’m in an old-fashioned Mediterranean-styled alley.

More merchandise shops and snack are also scattered around the theme park. My little sister got herself these cute Mickey Mouse merch.

You’ll never get hungry as you’ll never ran out of tables to dine and snacks to eat at Disneyland because there is a wide selection of food here. You won’t resist the ones that are shaped into Disney characters.

These ice cream sandwiches are so adorable! Of course, we just bought it for the ‘gram. There was nothing special with the taste.

We saw a woman carrying this drink and we thought it was iced matcha latte because it was served in a clear plastic cup and it had tapioca balls in it. We were surprised to learn that it was a hot drink! We didn’t regret buying though because it was delightful and a good warmer.

This turkey leg was gigantic! I couldn’t finish the whole thing. Wrapped in its crispy roasted skin, it was flavorful but the meat was kinda dry.

TikTok says that popcorn in Disneyland is different. Well, it’s a prank! I attest that it was just the same. They’re just in caramel flavor like what Chef Tony has.

They also said that the churros here are must-tries. But, I guess, they’re referring to the churros sold in Disney Sea. I could figure that these Disneyland churros were fried in old oil.

We bought these hot chocolate drinks from the same shop and they’re totally delish!

As we were about to jump to our next adventure, we stumbled upon Mickey Mouse and his friends, gliding on their respective floats and strolling around Disneyland. It was absolutely an enthusiastic parade! Everyone was dancing to the upbeat music.

At night, it was a magical moment as the disney princesses and other characters executed a parade in colorful vibrant lights. I just found myself having goosebumps while watching them pass one by one.

Outside the Disneyland compound, a gigantic complex caught our attention. We learned that it’s the in-house hotel of Tokyo Disney Resort. I could already imaging how staying here feels like living in a Disney mansion.

Overall, the rides were just okay because they’re really meant for kids and not for us. The shows and parades are lively. It isn’t hard to enjoy. But the feeling of being inside the wonder land is priceless. I’m indeed at my happiest in the happiest place on Earth!
